Rental Services: A Java Full Stack Project

We represent a group of three students from KL University. As part of our SDP-3 course, we have undertaken a research project focused on the Rental Service System.

Introduction: -

Our Project is about Rental Service. This is a service mainly used by customers to make them satisfied with our services and optimize the overall efficiency of rental businesses. It is mostly used by companies or individuals who offer rental services, such as cars, equipment, bikes, tools etc... Through which the customers can benefit from the rental system.

Modules and its operations: -

  1. User Authentication and Authorization: Allowing users to create accounts and login using their details.
  2. Dashboard and Navigation: Admin Dashboard: Manage inventory, reservations, users, and reports, Customer Dashboard: View rental history, manage reservations, and update profile.
  3. Inventory Management: Display available rental items with details, images, and prices, Admins can add new items or edit existing ones.
  4. Reservation System: Customers can select items, choose rental dates, and place reservations, Users can view and modify their upcoming reservations, Show item availability for different dates.
  5. Rental Booking and Checkout: Allow users to select items, confirm details, and proceed to checkout, Integrate with payment gateways for secure online payments.
  6. Feedback and Ratings: Allowing customers to provide feedback and ratings for rental items and services

Conclusion: -

This rental service offers numerous benefits to both customers and providers as they can take rent, use it, and give it back to providers. This will be helpful for people who are unable to afford items. Although we provide items at a low cost and with perfect maintenance. It mostly offers convenience and cost savings for customers, and the website that is developed will be user-friendly, trustworthy and we will be making continuous changes to the website according to the feedback.
