Be Relevant

I was listening to Senator Kamala Harris' interview today and one thing she said stayed with me: She intends to be relevant by listening to her voters.

Be relevant!

 Wow! It should be her bumper sticker.  

OK! Let's ignore for this context that it also appeared to be a dig at her more favored rival. :)

It kind of set me thinking. I guess that applies to professional life too.

Be relevant:

By constantly learning

By continuing to improve every day

By spending some time every day on things that will pay dividends in the future

By being conscious about your limitations and collaborating with teams that augment you or you, them

By staying positive

By looking to future with hope
