How to solve complex unstructured business problems with a structured framework called DESING THINKING? 🧠

  • Design thinking is a creative problem-solving process for dealing with the unstructured, messy challenges that are common in business.
  • Design thinking is a problem-solving strategy that prioritizes the delivery of results through the provision of solution-oriented strategies for addressing intricate issues.
  • Design thinking facilitates the redefinition of problems in a human-centric manner through the adoption of an empathetic perspective, wherein the designer immerses themselves in the position of end users and customers.

👉 Let’s discuss the framework

  • Design thinking is an iterative method that necessitates continual evolution and a solid foundation to apply empathy and get a comprehensive understanding of the problem from all angles.
  • Start gaining empathy for your customer - By interviewing and delving deeper into the problem, the user's behavioral patterns should be observed and engaged to comprehend the true problem statement by putting yourself into the consumer's shoes.
  • Define - What does the consumer hope to achieve? Use the insights gained in the previous stage to clearly describe the problem from your point of view, which can generate scope for further brainstorming to unearth simple and innovative solutions.
  • Ideate - Create alternative hypotheses to test by challenging assumptions, and produce many feasible solutions that can suit the needs of the consumer.
  • Iterate based on Feedback - Engage in a collaborative process of critical self-reflection within a team setting to identify and develop novel solutions.
  • Build and Test - Create a short prototype to detect gaps and risks to handle failures and incorporate learnings to create a new solution.
  • Redefine your Point-of-view - In retrospect, reflect upon how your interaction has influenced your point of view from the initial step of defining, and subsequently developing a new perspective that is inspired by the results of the test.

💥Human focus and individualization of features are important to design thinking. To do this, you need to know things like, "Who will be using this product?" because it's all about the person behind the problem and the solution. How will the user be affected by this solution? 💬💬
