PowerShell One Liner to Keep SharePoint Content Managers Happy!
C# | CSOM | PowerShell | SharePoint | Content Management
I love being operational support technician and to make my hand dirt every now and then! For past three weeks I was busy with SharePoint tasks, Well, I can say delivering the solution and supporting from very next day is interesting part!
Trust me each and every call is different issues, opinions or suggestions. Looking at my work loads content managers asked me to show the steps I do to solve simple tasks. For me, nothing is simple until I don't figure out the solution in PowerShell :) . Being a SharePoint IT Professionals we call know LIST is one of the core part of SharePoint architecture, so we played with Lists and this time content managers requested an one liner code to hide and show lists in different webs and the list can be one or many.
I picked up a constant, reliable and old technique :) and that's CSOM and delivered the solution using Visual Studio 2013, yep! built a binary module which has few cmdlets which accepts parameters :) I have shared just one part of it as demo in my blog link
