The power of data visualisation

How do you model your data to provide you insights?

Data Science, Data Statistics, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Data Mining and Predictive Analysis (remembering this is semantics for a growth industry!) simply is the "art" of gaining insights into structured or unstructured data models.

How often do we search for the answers we already know?

In today's world, companies are storing and retaining as much data as possible, whether this be on an on-premise database or tool-set, or through cloud based applications with elastic capacity.

Modern data analysis toolsets allow you to model data, using cloud based resources, create connections directly with these sources. Expanding on the dataset at hand, and enabling richer models to be established, harnessing the ever-expanding world of data, and translate this into actionable insights.

  1. What toolsets are you using?
  2. What purposes does it serve?
  3. Do you need help taking your model further?
  4. Are you currently trying to build a data model?

Hiba Al-Haimus how do you find splunk stacks up? I always personally considered splunk as an end-point and not a warehouse.. In terms of connecting with data sources does it have many connection methods available?
