Placement Interaction System(PS-24) || Skill Development Project(SDP3) || Batch 4135

Introduction:

In this article, I am going to explain you about my team project for the Junior Year(Odd Semester) at my university. Our project name is Placements4U which is a Training and Placement forum that connects the students and the faculty and make the learning easy for the college students.

Before getting into the Explanation let me introduce my Team Mates to you:

About our project (Objective):

Training and Placement Cell is to guide students to choose right career and to give knowledge, skill, and aptitude and meet the manpower requirements of the Industry. Maintaining and regularly updating the database of students. Maintaining database of companies and establishing strategic links for campus recruitment.

Our project has 3 modules:

• Student Module (Job Seeker)
• Recruiter Module (Person from a Company)
• Super Admin Module

These 3 modules work collaboratively together to make the perfect combo(Placements4U) Our objective is to guide students to choose right career and to give knowledge, skill, and aptitude and meet the manpower requirements of the Industry. Maintaining and regularly updating the database of students. Maintaining database of companies and establishing strategic links for campus recruitment.

Now, Let us get into the actual details of each module:

Student Module:

We have implemented this module in such a way that, when a student as a job seeker comes to our website, He can update his profile as many times as he wants for staying updated with the rest. He can view the upcoming drives he’s eligible for. He can either apply or ignore the upcoming drives, but he can be able to see all the drives he’s eligible for. He can also view the companies their job posts and requirements for preparing for their drives in future.

Recruiter Module:

we have 3 different options available for the Recruiter which include the posting drives, Able to see all the eligible candidates for the drives that they have posted and View and edit his own profile, This project helps Recruiters to easily know and filter the eligible candidates for a particular post in the company.

Admin (Super Admin):

As there are three types of modules, each other module depends on the super admin module. Admin needs to verify the drive requests from the company recruiter module whether the data is appropriate or not and then if it's valid data he posts the drives which will be available for the students in the student portal, he also can view the verified and ready to post data which is posted in the post drives. He also needs to verify the student's data when the student gets signed up with a student portal admin checks the data of the student whether it's valid or not and then he allows them for further accessibility in the student portal.
