Orbis-vis, Unique Digital Shadow on ICOS (Internet Cloud Operating System)
It’s so simple to be wise. Just think of something stupid to say and say the opposite……….
While using the technology, we also need to think on the same.
While technology is important, it's what we do with it that truly matters.
In my last blog, I was discussing about #Orbis-vis as a Universal Turing Machine and #Digital Shadow.
If you would like to pick these conversations up, the links are at the end of this blog.
Turing Machine was a great concept by Allan Turing in 1936-1937.
True innovation comes from perpendicular thinking.
There is little difference between UTM (Universal Turing Machine) and Turing Machine.
A Turing machine is a mathematical model of computation that defines an abstract machine which manipulates symbols on a strip of tape according to a table of rules. Despite the model's simplicity, given any computer algorithm, a Turing machine can be constructed that is capable of simulating that algorithm's logic.
While, a universal Turing machine (UTM) is a Turing machine that can simulate an arbitrary Turing machine on arbitrary input.
The universal machine essentially achieves this by reading both the description of the machine to be simulated as well as the input thereof from its own tape.
When Alan Turing came up with the idea of a universal machine he had in mind the simplest computing model powerful enough to calculate all possible functions that can be calculated. Claude Shannon first explicitly posed the question of finding the smallest possible universal Turing machine in 1956. But it could not be flourished at that time.
The advancement of technology generally evokes a range of emotions in people from all walks of life.
Now after decades, I’m pleased to announce that our team have successfully built Alan Turing’s Universal Turing Machine!
So, #Orbis-vis is the world’s first UTM (Universal Turing Machine), which will have unique #Digital Shadow.
Now, the question comes how it will work with unique #Digital Shadow.
Let me first explain you about the #Digital Shadow.
Most of the people every day navigate through the internet perfectly natural, without any limitation, making extensive use of what it has to offer. The availability of internet access is steadily increasing along with the numbers of devices that are non-stop communicating via it, thus growing our digital universe.
Every time we use online services, we leave digital traces. In many cases, data is collected without our knowledge and against our agreement – passive digital shadow. Sometimes, however, we also give our data willingly into the hands of digital service providers or deliberately share personal information via social networks – active digital shadow.
Technology can be our best friend, and technology can also be the biggest party pooper of our lives. It interrupts our own story.
With the increased growth of the “Internet of Things,” this data sharing is also increasing. At every move we produce data and our #digital shadow is becoming longer and longer.
Now the question comes where is the concern on data security?
The first step to a larger digital awareness is to find out how and where we have set our digital footprints.
And here #Orbis-vis comes in light to help.
Knowing what information, personal and/or business data, is actually being tracked is a good starting point to demystify the #digital shadow and to raise responsibility for your own personal digital life.
On #Orbis-vis, access your #digital shadow and decide what you want to share.
The number one benefit of #Orbis-vis is that it empowers people to do what they want to do with secured #digital shadow. It lets people be creative. It lets people be productive. It lets people learn things they didn't think they could learn before, and so in a sense it is all about potential.
I will talk more about this in my next article....
