Calling all developers playing with GenAI! Docker's just launched the beta for their Model Runner, a super cool feature built right into Docker Desktop 4.40. It's designed to make running and testing AI models locally way easier. Think an OpenAI-compatible API endpoint on your machine and standardized model packaging with OCI artifacts. Makes diving into local AI integration much less of a headache.
React Compiler RC is Here: Automatic Memoization for Smoother UIs! 🏎️
The React Compiler just dropped its Release Candidate (RC). This build-time tool is designed to automatically memoize your components, promising smoother performance, fewer re-renders, and snappier UIs. The RC is pretty close to final and good to try in production. They've improved dependency inference, integrated with eslint-plugin-react-hooks, and even added experimental support for tools like swc. Definitely time to give it a spin!
