OPPORTUNITY
In today's world, we get opportunities everywhere. We get more experience and exposure than the previous generation did. Here are the few things I feel everyone needs to be aware of before committing to a job that may not be the best fit.
Firstly, there are many opportunities out there which aren't explored, so we have to explore as much as possible before choosing one.
Set deadlines for every learning phase/understanding phase and if it works for you, give it an extension or a break before it gets serious.
Secondly, more the knowledge you have, the more the opportunity, and thus the greater is your success rate.
While focussing on yourself, you need to give updates, almost like a software update that removes bugs from an app. We need to give updates on our life to remove irrelevant or unwanted job opportunities so as to increase our efficiency.
What is an irrelevant or unwanted job opportunity?
It is a job where you will not be able to work with your fullest potential even after spending a considerable amount of time.
You can find relevant opportunities by connecting on an online networking platform such as Linkedin. Where you can connect with professionals and explore their learning path. Get relevant updates on the topics and opportunities in a particular domain.
Finally, focus on yourself and build yourself to the next level. If you do that, you don’t have to find the opportunity; the opportunity will find you.
