One Login Module for all Mendix Apps

Let’s be honest: Mendix has never really shipped a truly complete, production-grade login experience out of the box. Sure, we’ve had pieces: a login page here, a forgot password module there, hide/obfuscate password on login.html, etc.

What we haven’t had is a plug-and-play, React Ready solution that actually covers the full set of use cases — in multiple languages, with announcements, forgot password, with proper user experience, responsive design, and React Native compatibility.

So… I built one. :-) I'd like to introduce to you

The Complete Login Module — for Web, PWA and Native – React Ready

It’s a mouthful, but it delivers. Here is an overview of features

  • 📆 1 React Ready Login Page, built for Web, yet extendable for PWA and React Native — one module, reusable flows.
  • Announcements, run-time translatable, publishing windows.
  • 🔐 Admin-configurable password policies (mixed case, digit, symbol, min length) to match your project settings, and which translate into clear validation help.
  • ✅ Real-time UX validation with friendly feedback (tick-off checklist style)
  • ✉️ A fully translated Forgot Password flow, including email + QR code deep links attached to emails.
  • 🌍 Language switcher on every screen, session-aware and optional
  • 📣 Multi-language system announcements, shown to anonymous users
  • 🔼️ Easily customizable visuals — tweak the image, logo, layout snippets
  • ⚙️ Admin UI for all config — no redeploys for changes
  • Responsive web pages
  • Native page extension coming soon...

All Announcement translations are runtime editable. Email templates match the user’s session language. You can use either Account.Name or Account.Email for login and reset.

Why does this matter?

It matters, because login is everyone's first impression. It needs to be fast, secure, and localized. Moreover, it needs to be ready for Mx 11. Let's stop wasting away too much time re-building the same logic for every app. This module can be dropped into just about any app and save you hours, if not days. No more copy-pasting flows, hacking together reset emails, or explaining to your customer why there’s no announcement bar. The ultimate login solution is here.

I wish mx would make a 'your first saas' starter kit, and include this! This is what every teenage maker dreams of: being able to launch their idea in a weekend. (in my experience, the lack of an easy-to-set-up 'self service' user management system is the first challenge most makers but their heads against)

Could this really be the ultimate login module? Looking forward to test it.

Wouter Penris does it also include (2 factor authentication with Google Authenticator would be great!)

Sounds very cool Wouter Penris. Will be checking this out 🙌

This looks and sound absolutely marvelous 😍, looking forward to seeing it in action!
