OBJECTIVES
We use a Management By Objectives (MBO) approach with attention to SMART objectives:
When done well this improves clarity, communication, focus, job satisfaction, performance, and teamwork. Done well it can be a substantial way for everyone to ENGAGE in a larger-than-self endeavor.
SMART objectives need to be Specific, but I'd like to share a 2-objective template when considering making personal objectives:
1. Do what is most important for you to be doing
2. Increase your capacity for #1
I believe figuring that out well will improve clarity, communication, focus, job satisfaction, performance, and teamwork.
