Now THAT was cool...
LinkedIn is about professional networking. Sometimes it's about useless connections to recruiters who don't know your background. Sometimes it's about quasi-social issues and in danger of becoming Facebook. More than once, I've wanted to close my account and move on to a more useful platform. Then this happens...
A week ago I connected with someone I never met before. She wasn't a recruiter. She didn't have a social cause. She read something I posted about AP Recovery Audits and wanted to know more. We had a meaningful conversation about my experience, my thoughts, my ideas for improvements if I were to do it again. I learned something about someone else, another industry, and another perspective.
I think I just made a positive contribution to the professional community on LinkedIn. It was motivating... Isn't that what this place is all about?
Nice testimony..... they should pay you...
