The New Path
see the bend in the road differently

The New Path

Life has a habit of arriving on its own schedule, bringing the inevitable at the most startling hour.

So pause. Cherish the journey that brought you to this moment, don’t be afraid of the valley ahead.

Down in the valley, where fatigue nips at your heels while darkness closes in, friends become lanterns. They stand beside you; they illuminate the ground beneath your feet.

Keep your eyes on the road ahead. Offer respect as a standard— professional and steady— regardless of the storms others may bring.

Embrace the journey and see clearly others now walk beside you.  Let your contribution outweigh your request. Pour out more than you ever ask to be refilled.

And when tomorrow comes, wake with a question instead of an answer. Watch for the moment, when the light crests the darkness.  Listen for the voice, a gentle tap. The time has come.

The new path isn’t a destination; it is a choice to see the bend in the road differently.  Walk towards it with the curiosity of a child and the wisdom from the valley.

I really appreciated your fellowship and guidance this year Robert. Was great to connect and stay connected
