NetSuite Scripted Records
What are Scripted Records
Scripted Records are any record in NetSuite that has a client script, user event script or workflow associated with the record.
The scripted records page allows us to see all scripts that are deployed against a specific record type.
To access the Scripted Records page, go to Customization > Scripting > Scripted Records.
Using the Scripted Records Page
The Scripted Records page is helpful for troubleshooting problematic scripts and workflows. You can use the page to:
- access a specific record type to specify the execution order of scripts associated with each record of that type
- edit script deployment statuses
- deploy or inactivate script deployments
- change workflow statuses
- set workflow initiation details
The Scripted Record page includes the following subtabs:
- User Event Scripts
- Client Scripts,
- Custom Forms
- Localized User Event Scripts
- Localized Client Scripts
- Workflows
Using the Scripted Record Page
You can use the scripted records page to:
- View all the Scripts running on a record
- View the Script Details and triggers
- Change the deployment status of a script
- Change the script execution order
