My experience with Crio Launch Program :)

What is the Crio launch program?

Launch is a 10-week online merit-based applied learning program to acquire skills in Java, Databases, OOPs, Applied Data Structures, Linux, OS & Networking, and more. It provides projects as curated modules, none of which you’ll be able to complete without grasping the underlying knowledge and more importantly applying the learning.

• I'm here to share my awesome experience with the Crio.do launch program. In the last 8 weeks I got to learn many new concepts by applying them along the way in this Crio Launch "Learning By Doing" program. This program was backed up by an awesome Crio team and mentors who were always there to help you whenever you got stuck. Along with mentors, there were student developers like me who were selected for this program were supportive and having the zeal to learn. I'm sharing all these because I have been graduated by this program completing three Micro-Experience viz. QBox, QMoney, Qprep and working on Qcharm. There are a lot of queries regarding this program coming as many of us are not aware of this awesome program. In this article, I have shared the details from the starting point to the end of this program along with my own experience.

Selection Process: Firstly there were referrals going around for this program so you get referred by your friends, seniors or mentors. Also, you can go directly to the website and apply for this program.

After applying you will shortly receive a mail regarding your coding assessment schedule.

In the coding assessment, you have to solve 3-4 questions based on fundamental logic and algorithm. The questions were of easy-easy-med-hard type.

The questions were solvable so if you expect and put little effort you can easily clear this after which you will receive your schedule for mini-project i.e. you have to participate in Crio weekend micro-experience for QEats Sneak Peek.

After completing this ME at the weekend you will shortly receive your Crio-Launch Pass.

Now you have officially become a part of this program :)

There will be a kick-off session and many webinars that will be organized via zoom to make you well aware of this whole program.

Also, there will be a channel on slack where all the announcements, system issues will be addressed. From slack, you will learn a lot of stuff as fellow developers will keep on sharing some best resources and concepts. Also, this place will be your break out area where you will enjoy some cool memes and 'gyan' shared by 'devgyan' :)

There was a channel on the slack group known as #diary having cool designed stuff by awesome Crio tech team known as Crio Buddies.

Crio team will always be there to keep you motivated and updated with tech-industry. They will organize many webinars and sessions with some great people to bring you some insights of tech-industry. One of the series was 'Big Variable Series' where we got a chance to interact with awesome tech-leads and Ajay Sir.

Crio team send some very cool stuff including a weekly report summarizing all the activities and top-notch discussion over the week in the program.

Before joining this program I was not confident about my development skills and was not aware of how the real-software products are built in different stages in the software industry. I got the answers to questions like- 'How the real-software products are built from scratch', 'What are the parameters considered during the design phase of software', 'How different teams collaborate while working on the same project', 'How input-output contracts are handled withing different teams', 'How scalable software is designed, developed and maintained'.

I got a chance to apply my theoretical knowledge and textual book information into real -software products and learned many concepts along the way. I acquired some important skills in this program.

I would highly recommend this program for students of the 3rd and 4th year of their college life who want to develop and hone some best skills of the software industry.
