MULTIFACETED
A year ago working through rediscovering my PURPOSE and MISSION FOCUS was very helpful in resetting/REALIGNING my thinking. But it was complex and at this time last year I tried to focus on the HOW and reached a very complicated statement of:
"I would like to provide the most useful information to clinicians and patients at the point of care by (1) defining the most useful information including what it contains and how it displays, (2) understanding how the information needs to be received in the "point of care" today (and tomorrow), (3) determining and contributing to how the information is produced, (4) determining and contributing to how the information is presented, disseminated and connected, (5) facilitating the relationships across people and entities to achieve this, and (6) creating a flexible and sustainable system for it."
I have been doing that but revisiting this a year later gets me back to a SIMPLE mission: providing the most useful information for healthcare decision-making
Of course there will be some complexity – this is a MULTIFACETED mission – there are many facets to the HOW in “providing the most useful information” and there are many facets to the WHAT in “information for healthcare decision-making”.
