MAXIMAL COLLABORATION

In an earlier version of the DynaMed website the first link was The DynaMed Mission – a page describing the mission to provide the most useful information to health care professionals at the point of CARE.

The second link was “Maximal Usefulness. Maximal Collaboration.” It described how achieving maximal usefulness required understanding and engaging our users, and collaborating with all parties with interests and potential for meeting the mission. Early on this meant engaging individual users in many ways.

Today MAXIMAL COLLABORATION has scaled way beyond those early days. We still listen to individual users (it is still the basis for our mission and what we do), but we have gone way beyond to collaborate with many groups, associations, and institutions.  Some of our deepest collaborations include the American College of Physicians, the Guidelines International Network, McMaster University (Health Information Research Unit), and Truven Health Analytics Inc.

We frequently think about how we can MAXIMALLY COLLABORATE across our team, and our greatest steps forward come when we work across our many subteams. Let’s also continue to seek additional partners and collaborators to increase our inputs and extend our reach.
