Making Sales While Feeling Flat
Ooft, okay. This past week has been one of those weeks.
Not in a big dramatic way. Nothing terrible happened. In fact, everything’s kind of amazing right now. Business is flowing, passive sales are coming through daily, my clients are lit up, and I feel so connected to my family and friends. But energetically? I’ve just been feeling flat. A little off. A bit meh.
You know those weeks where you’re not sad exactly, but you’re not bouncing out of bed either. The kind of energy where you don’t really want to talk to anyone, and you’re just craving quiet. A whole lot of stillness. That was me.
And here’s what felt the strangest about it. It didn’t match what was happening around me. Everything in my external world is thriving. But internally? It was like my system needed to power down for a bit. Like I’d been on such a high, especially after a big group coaching day (which, by the way, was next-level amazing), and then my body was like, “Okay, cool, now we rest.”
So, I did.
I booked in a massage, more for the energetic clearing than anything physical. I’ve been giving myself circuit breakers, just to shift the energy. Resetting the house, vacuuming, rearranging flowers, tidying up mirrors. I even took everything off my desk, did a big cleanse, and re-centred the space. And I’ve been staying off socials. Like, fully off. Five whole days of no posting. Which is huge for me, but also, needed.
And here’s the thing I really want to share with you. The sales didn’t stop.
Even while I was feeling flat, even while I was unplugged from the content machine, my business still moved. People were buying from me. Messaging me. Engaging with content I’d shared weeks ago. Because I’ve set things up to work like that. Not because I’m lucky, but because I’ve been really intentional about building a business that can breathe when I need to take a breath.

There’s so much noise out there that says you have to be constantly on. That the moment you stop showing up online, everything stops working. But that’s not the kind of business I want to build. That’s not what I believe in.
You can have quiet seasons and still make sales. You can take a step back and still be deeply held by your business. You can feel flat and still be in flow.
Sometimes it’s not about going harder. Sometimes it’s just about honouring what your energy is asking for. And right now, mine is asking for softness, presence, and space.
And even if you’re in that in-between season, where you’re not totally thriving but you’re also not crumbling, know that it’s still valid. Your energy is still sacred. And there’s still fire in you, even if it’s just sitting low in the embers right now.
If this is resonating, I spoke about it more in this week’s podcast episode. I walk you through exactly what I did to reset my flow. Nothing fancy, nothing performative, just really honest and simple shifts that brought me back into my body, and back into my business.
