Make it simple.

Gathering information to have ways to access them more easily, it’s not something to be done in a hurry, it is not something to be done with absurd deadlines, and certainly, it is not a competition.

What we have most valuable is information, but not only that, the real information, accurate, with reference capable of making decisions right. This is powerful.

You need to take into consideration of having trustworthy people around you who have the same goals as you: obtain and maintain correct and aligned information. If you don’t have this kind of person around, the journey will be painful.

It takes time to get information, some people will not understand what you are doing, others will say you are not doing anything but the fact is – you still have to do it anyway – don’t pay attention when someone says that to you, you should only focus on what you are doing you have so many things to analyze and make this package of information common knowledge, so your time should be only for DATA.

Accept good criticism, it will make you grow strong, but do know how to handle pessimism.

So here is the valuable thing of your journey, no matter what kind of data system you are using, you should create some rules for this, asking yourself why are you doing this is the first but not least and then:

1. What is in your hands, accept that you don’t have all, it is ok, you are going to have it, you just have to be strategic and go after it for sure.
2. Always analyze, if you don’t understand go back a little and seek for knowledge, your co-worker is the best to help you.
3. Try to explain what you are building to yourself, is it make sense to you but it will make sense to others? You need to make yourself critic enough to analyze if you are complicating things that shouldn’t be, you know what to do and how to do it but not everybody does so make it simple!

Simple to read, simple to find and easy to understand!

That is the key point.

Make it simple by creating your own steps or even follow mine but always make sure you are doing it with a clear mind, and the wide-open hearth because when you do it you will be faithful to the DATA and that is the point. It will be something incredible when you see all this information working properly, communicating through systems and like magic ( we know it is not magic) we get to see all that did not make sense at the beginning making sense when it is done.
