Looking for a Few Good Devs
I'm not a recruiter. But I am a senior manager looking to build and staff the best possible extended team for my organization! We've got remote developer roles and in-office technical leadership opportunities in T-Mobile's Enterprise Delivery Platform group. We're also looking for technical leaders to grow Quality Engineering team in building a testing framework and showing our customer app teams how amazing automated testing really is.
We're bringing the magenta mindset into T-Mobile's backoffice IT by not only creating a modern CI/CD toolchain, but also leading a total shift to an agile + devops way of doing development. We're making great strides already, but it will be a multi-year effort to completely transform this old telco DNA. This means we need people like you! Bonus points if you already have experience developing Groovy-based Jenkins pipeline enhancements and know Java well enough to make a Python dev cringe. :D
My team (pipeline engineering), my sister team (pipeline onboarding), and the automated testing team all have Principle and Senior Software Engineering roles open. Each of these group roles up to the same amazing VP who gets what we're doing at a visceral level. Our CIO is one of the best I've ever worked with, both with the tech and the business side of enterprise IT. And if you follow T-Mobile at all, our CEO is just crazy enough to give us the leeway to pull it all off!
Message me if you're interested! We just closed two reqs and the next couple should be posted by end of week. For remote roles, 20 to 30% travel may be required in the first year for in-person collaboration sessions in our regional offices, located in Dallas, Atlanta, and/or Seattle (Bellevue & Bothell). Certain leadership roles may require relocation to a regional office, which will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
