#LOCKDOWN NOTES 2

At this time, getting vision and insight is very important. Some see opportunities in the current situation, others are looking at the opportunities that beckon after now.

There are lots of postulations about what life would be like in the future. The experts are busy analysing and forecasting. Some would be spot on, some would be completely wrong, others would have near misses. Everyone wants to be the harbinger of the picture of the future, some based on statistics, some based on guesswork... And this is germane because the one that truly knows can rule. The one that guesses would take risks. Our finite minds indicate that we can only know so much. Even the brightest of minds is still finite and has a limit of knowledge or insight.

Not everyone is going to have the idea that builds the next global brand or produces the next innovative service. But I believe that everyone can get insights into the things that would help him or her live a fulfilled life, by all standards. Everyone can get light to make the best decisions and avoid losses or regrets. We can go beyond surviving to thriving.

In these times, in whatever domain you are, you would need insight in three dimensions:

Knowing more about God. You should seek more revelations about God and His ways. You should seek a deeper level of intimacy with your Maker. This is the best thing you can do for yourself.

Knowing about your life and destiny. You should know who you are, what capabilities you should put to use going forward, what trajectory you should follow and where you are going.

Knowing about the world. We were made to have dominion over the earth. You need insights to rule. You need an understanding of the times and seasons. You need to know what shifts are coming and what waves to ride.

Ultimately, all these insights are truly possible when we invest substantial time in communion with the Father while at the same time opening up our minds to the right information.
