Let's make securing clouds better

I’ve now been at Wiz for 21 months, and what an incredible journey so far, but this is just the beginning.

At Wiz, we understand that just getting visibility into ALL your cloud environments is super challenging, let alone understanding if you have a database exposed to the outside world, or if a developer has reused a highly permissive role across multiple environments or clouds, and are those environments exposed to the internet, and do they run a critical software vulnerability...ok, I’ll stop, but you get the picture.

The product & marketing teams at Wiz are endeavouring to make the life of a cloud, software & security professional much easier through the release of more resources to help you understand risks in the cloud.

The best way is to talk to a Wizard and connect a cloud account to Wiz, however we know that is not always possible, so here are some resources that can help:-

  1. A recorded demo of Wiz. In 10 minutes, you’ll hear why so many customers have adopted Wiz so quickly to help them secure their clouds. https://www.wiz.io/demo
  2. A practical guide to transforming and scaling security teams, processes and tools to support cloud development. https://www.wiz.io/lp/cloud-security-workflow-handbook
  3. Lateral movement risks in the cloud and how to prevent them. https://www.wiz.io/blog/lateral-movement-risks-in-the-cloud-and-how-to-prevent-them-part-2-from-k8s-clust
  4. Getting started with Open Policy Agent (OPA) to improve your cloud security.  https://www.wiz.io/blog/getting-started-with-open-policy-agent-opa-to-improve-your-cloud-security
  5. Streamlining OS and Application Hardening. https://www.wiz.io/blog/streamlining-os-and-application-hardening-revealing-misconfigurations
  6. Enhancing Kubernetes security with user namespaces. https://www.wiz.io/blog/enhancing-kubernetes-security-with-user-namespaces
  7. New Year’s Resolutions: Where CISOs plan to invest and scale back in 2023. https://www.wiz.io/blog/new-years-resolutions-where-cisos-plan-to-invest-and-scale-back-in-2023

The team have released these resources since 1st January 2023! Along with the regular blog updates (https://www.wiz.io/blog) and the Wiz Risk Academy (https://www.wiz.io/academy), the Wiz website is becoming an asset for anyone looking to secure clouds. This is just the beginning

Glad to see you are having fun
