THE LEARNING CURVE

THE LEARNING CURVE

I am a huge advocate, evangelist, and preacher of learning. I'd say any day that whatever good thing thy mind findeth, learn it well; as twist to the popular bible verse and saying we all know. As another twist to another popular Bible verse is ‘I am what I am today, by learning, and then the grace of God”

Honestly, this was not how I planned on starting this article; not by playing with popular Bible verses, but we move.

Late last year, I wanted to start a LinkedIn Newsletter titled THE LEARNING CURVE. Then I discovered LinkedIn would not let me do newsletters; so again, we move - except now with occasional articles about my learning curves and I'm not promising anything.

Talking about learning; the phrase 'we move!' was a major learning for me from the year you-know-what-year. A rigorous learning year and, as an advocate of learning, it brought out a lot in me. Especially a first-hand experience through an actual learning curve, and about how it's no curve at all.

I'm sure that we've all heard the phrase 'Learning curve' and how we need to stay true till we start going back up the curve.

However, take this exercise, try and draw a chart out of any learning phase you have been through recently, and you will soon discover you have a rollercoaster-looking chart.

Something that looks like what we have below:

Temidayo Samuel - The Learning Curve

You would also discover that every time you’re down the trough of this actual curve (rollercoaster), you know better than you knew in your last trough.

So, from time to time, I will be sharing articles on the learning curves, sorry! Learning roller-coasters that I’ve been through in many areas of my life, and just only hope somebody gets something from it.

Peace & Love!

This is a good Temidayo Samuel ! Learning is without limit. Learning is for a life time. That is why we have professors and experts. You will surely make impact. I for one is ready to learn from you. But why did you say linkedin will not allow you to do newsletter? Kindly respond. Cheers

I think you can share newsletters, however aside being posted here it’s also goes directly to the mail box of your subscribers. Oluwatosin Olaseinde of The Money Africa currently does this. I receive her weekly newsletters which also is posted as an article on her LinkedIn profile. I guess it’s a paid feature. You could reach out to her for guidance, I hope it helps.
