learning agility - the way to be...
Have always been fascinated and driven by quotes like – “Change is the only constant”, "Change has never happened this fast before, and it will never be this slow again”… it just helps one stay honest, not get complacent and be comfortable with the thought of putting ourselves in the open and being uncomfortable. The last 14 years with Publicis Sapient has been a lot of the above – and that’s been a key to ensuring that I stay relevant in these changing times.
As an Experience technologist – the change has been bigger than anyone can fathom. From being called cosmetic developers to now doing majority of the heavy lifting for solutions we design for our clients – the change has been exponential, both from a perspective of technology enablement to scale. As one of the largest tech communities in the organisation and otherwise – the onus is on each and every individual of this domain to not just adopt the change – but to lead and identify the value that you deliver and thereby be the change. This is our “HOW” between the NOW and NEXT.
Being learning agile is one of the key elements to ensure you ride the tide and be ready for the future. This is the best time to be a technologist – with more avenues of co-creation and partnership with the clients opening up – we truly are in a space where we traverse the journey of the digital transformation of the brand. Optimised teams delivering quality solutions – also means – you as a developer need to upskill yourself to deliver end to end stories and take them to live – which has been one of the learning curves I have covered and ended up being a complete technologist.
Technology is and will always be the means to enabling and adding value to the clients – and as an engineer – it is about understanding what is the bigger purpose being delivered and the impact it will have on the clients ask. It’s all about HOW you #SeizeTheSpace between NOW and NEXT.
#SeizeTheSpace
Interesting!! How you managed all that you need in all what you have.
literally.... :-)
"From being called cosmetic developers to now doing majority of the heavy lifting for solutions we design for our clients – the change has been exponential" - Couldn't have agreed more. Bigger the challenge bigger the opportunity
