What is the Director of Client Services?

The Director of Client Services is not just a role but a pivotal leadership position. This individual will be at the heart of nurturing and expanding relationships across a spectrum of industries, directly contributing to the company's strategic direction. Reporting to the President, this role encompasses overseeing and mentoring a talented Client Services team, including Account Managers, Account Strategists, and Project Managers. It's a role that demands a deep understanding of client needs and project management and a visionary approach to leadership and team development.

The responsibilities of this position are multifaceted, encompassing client account management, project management, and contributing to the leadership team. The ideal candidate will motivate and mentor the Accounts team, leading communication with clients to ensure seamless collaboration among Pointer teams. They will also play a crucial role in project management, supporting the Senior Project Manager and adding efficiencies to the process to ensure projects conclude successfully within budget and on time.

This role is suited for individuals who embody the core values of Communication, Accountability, Creativity, and Confidence and who have a proven track record in a senior or leadership role within a digital agency environment. Exceptional communication skills, organizational prowess, and a passion for creative problem-solving are essential. A strong understanding of web design and development and experience in managing and growing a client services team is also crucial.
