Join Me on Substack

I love writing this LinkedIn newsletter. One of my goals for 2026 is to bring more intention to my content here, from the cadence of this newsletter to the increase in video content. Every year, I set lofty content goals that always fall by the wayside. Although I worry that 2026 will be no different, my strategic analysis is telling me to start codifying my offerings and my knowledge into scalable and branded assets. If I want to continue to amplify my own voice, I need to move towards templatizing So Very Kerry.

One area of content that I’ve thrown a ton of energy into this year is my writing. I’ve always written in some capacity, but I started writing more seriously in 2020. I tried to write two books. I wrote a newsletter for my website. I wrote in my journal. But I knew I wanted more. I wanted to write an entire book and get it published. I wanted my essays to live somewhere other than LinkedIn, since they cover topics like grief, favorite fiction books, and observations from my travels. I wanted to get out from the mountain of notebooks and documents and into a system for my writing. I went to Savannah for three days to sort this all out. I was truly set free — I now have a new system in Notion , a Substack that will reach 100 posts by the end of the year, and 50,000 words drafted for my book.

I am excited to bring you even more content here on LinkedIn next year, including teasers from my book. If you are interested in content that goes well beyond the professional sphere, I’d love to see you over on my Substack. I am posting four times a week, sharing notes throughout the day, and engaging with so many new people. Could one of those people be you?

And if you plan to stay with me here on LinkedIn, I would love to hear from you. I want to know what interests you, what drives you, and what keeps you up at night. Perhaps I can write about it.

Happy reading, here on LinkedIn and maybe on my Substack too.

Kerry, I love how you've built multiple spaces for sharing your perspective online. You've established a distinct voice and structure that I like to think of myself as emulating with my own recently LinkedIn and Substack newsletters 😉 . Looking forward to having even more enjoyable reading material from you across platforms in the months to come!
