INTERSTELLAR GEEKS?

TIME DILATION: As an object accelerates, time moves slower. In his theory of relativity, Einstein proved that gravity is acceleration rather than a pull. Therefore, as an object approaches to a high gravitational field, in this case a planet orbiting a black hole, time moves slower. For this reason, the astronauts were younger than their children back to earth.

WORMHOLE: Wormholes(hypothetically) connect two far apart regions in a universe or even different universes. They are created when space-time is bent in a way that would directly connect point A to B. Wormholes enable travelling faster than light since when an object actually covers more distance at the same speed. The wormhole in the movie appears to be a sphere. This is correct representation because the hole itself is a combination of two gravitational creating a curvature in space-time. Even though we represent space-time fabric in 2D, seen in person a wormhole would look similar to the one in the movie.

TESSERACT: In geometry, tesseract corresponds to 2 cubes that are connected by the corners. In the film, tesseract is referred as a physical dimension where you can travel in time.Cooper(the main character) enters a black hole and travels through time to see and even communicate with your past memories.In the film , tesseract was defined by the people in future. They managed to construct such a complex structure like a tesseract that has 5 dimensions and gained infinite access to space and time. Tesseract, where Cooper travels through time, is a 3 dimensional space within 5 dimensions, Cooper was able to see every single moment in the infinite time frame. Although, tesseracts were depicted like this in the film, it requires super advanced technology that we may not be able to create them. Yet, in the film it was told that the people in the future had managed to build tesseracts allowing them to travel.

BLACK HOLE: The black hole that was displayed in the film is quite accurate compared to what someone would see in person, Black hole appears to have a light disk surrounding it's very dark event horizon. The light disk creation is due to the space-time curvature near the black hole causing light to have a bent route in which light circles around the black hole.
