I joined Sysdig!

I've now officially joined Sysdig, and here is the understanding for my move:

World is moving towards hybrid cloud

In last one year, world is slowly and steadily moving towards adopting cloud. Cloud offers flexibility of apis, scale and subscription businesses. Cloud makes it all of these easier by building contracts that everyone can adhere to. As a result, almost all SaaS companies has reported tremendous growth forecasts in last one year.

Securing your cloud infrastructure is only real way to earn your customer's trust

With such rapid movements in cloud, and ever evolving security posture, there are bound to be gaps in securing your infrastructure. As you host confidential information about your customers, security incidents regarding customer data could literally lead a devastating blow to your SaaS strategy.

Security tech should be open sourced

With advent of open source stacks like kubernetes, mongodb, elasticsearch etc. World is already leveraging OSS in building their services and platform. Future of cloud security is also open source with projects like Trivy docker scanner, Sysdig, Cloud Custodian, Falco etc. It helps build trust , strong community which takes in consideration of requirements of multiple players, and strong integrations with existing infrastructure.

With this I couldn't be more happier about my decision to join Sysdig. Having worked at a SaaS company Thoughtspot , I know very well that goal of complete security is lofty one and I'm excited to bring the best security experience for your infrastructure.
