HUMOR
HUMOR is the tendency of particular cognitive experiences to provoke laughter and provide amusement. HUMOR is also the capacity of perceiving or expressing what is amusing or comical. HUMORS are peculiar features, oddities or quirks. HUMOR is a mental disposition or temperament. To HUMOR is to adapt or accommodate for.
HUMOR is fun but it also is an important attribute for connecting with others. How do you feel about people with a good HUMOR, or about people without HUMOR? Why is something comical (and seemingly unimportant) important for how we connect and what we remember (we often remember how we feel more than the objective observations)?
HUMOR could be considered an oddity of the human condition (it doesn’t directly prevent being eaten by predators or other survival factors to explain its evolutionary development) but isn’t it AWESOME that there is more to life than finding food and avoiding being eaten?
HUMOR like most things is best in moderation and situational awareness – HUMOR helps us connect when showing humility, but not when denigrating others.
