How I continue learning web development

I’ve been programming for a number of years, yet I’ll be continuing to learn and improve for many more years to come. This is by no means a complete list, but it is a way to pass on some of the resources I glean from.

I learn in different ways:

Read articles / twitter / ebooks / emails
Read code / documentation
Listen to podcasts
Watch presentations
Attend meetups / conferences
Write code
Play with unfamiliar technologies
Interactive tutorials / challenges
Playpen / sandbox type websites
Work on side-projects
Teach code

I subscribe to some mailing lists, but these sometimes clutter my inbox, so I try to keep it to a minimum.

I save articles for later using pocket: https://www.getpocket.com. This allows me to read articles at any time on my phone, or the pocket website.
