How to Avoid a Sales Crash
Why do sales people think that the more they talk, the more they will get the sell? She didn't even hear me tell her exactly what I wanted today. She was much to busy listening to herself talk.
She crashed today, because she didn't apply the brakes and approach the curve with caution. Slow down and listen to your customers.
I can't tell you how many sales people I've met, or worked with, who have talked themselves out of a sale. Meanwhile someone listened, proposed a solution that met their needs and made a new customer.
