Hello Quantum World!
Do you think Quantum Computing will define our future?
We all enjoy the benefits of classical computing every day. However, in this modern era, we face many challenging situations mainly due to the unavailability of advanced technologies. For example, if the size and complexity of available data are very high, the classical computational techniques will not be able to tackle all the available data and will result in errors. The need for an advanced method of computing can be fulfilled with the help of quantum computers.
All computing systems store information as binary 0 and 1 states. In quantum computing, the quantum mechanical phenomena of superposition and entanglement are utilized to store and manipulate data. Instead of bits quantum computers utilize quantum bits or qubits to store and manipulate data. Since quantum computers rely on quantum entanglement, these quantum computers are able to create states that scale exponentially with number of qubits. Quantum computers can process massive and complex datasets more efficiently than classical computers. Thus, if the computations incorporate an unlimited number of variables, then the quantum computers can solve them in a very short span of time.
To meet the requirements of cyber security, Quantum computers can be used due to their ability to break codes and encrypt electronic communications. Some of the biggest players in tech — including Google, Microsoft, Intel, IBM, and Alibaba — are exploring quantum computing for better cyber security. Apart from cyber security, quantum artificial intelligence and cloud computing utilize the benefits of quantum computing. Quantum Computing will change artificial intelligence by giving massive computing power to enable a faster and more robust AI especially in natural language processing and general AI. What more, with deep learning computers can see, recognize and interact with the outside world!
