Reason for Creating HawkClient

When Postman made sign-in mandatory and shifted all data storage to the cloud, I became uncomfortable storing sensitive API collections in a remote environment. I wanted a tool that kept everything local, secure, and under my control. So, I built HawkClient — initially just for myself — with the goal of storing collections on the local file system, easily versioned and shared using Git, just like most developers are used to. Over time, I realised others who value privacy, security, and Git-based workflows might benefit from it too.

I’d love your thoughts, feedback, and suggestions.
