Green Frog

Green Frog

Green Frog

Green frog in the pond
Waits without a sound
For a lil touch from my reddened lips
Of lipstick tested from animal tips
Kiss me now, kiss me now
If you may
His eyes seem to say

But I vroomed fast
A lone queen in my car
Going really far
And spewing smoke
The colour of tar
Scoffing at car pool
And looking, Oh so cool

Green frog in the pond
Waits without a sound
for a lil look from my myopic eyes
that believed in consumerist lies
Let the farmer die, who cares
All I need is money to
Buy a hole near the tallest mall
Even though my cheeks pall

Juice of berries and fruits
I have long forgotten the taste
Colas and fizz tingle me
lovely caffeine gives energy unbound
even though my waist is a lil round
and I have allergy to speck of dust
and nuts, little bits of life

Green frog in the pond
Waits for me no more
I wade through the slush
Of plastic and pain
And search in vain
I will kiss you now
I will kiss you now
You are my prince
But without a sound
He lays still belly up
