The Grass is Greener
In talking to what I consider to be a very close friend, our conversations have mentioned this subject several times.
As we gaze across the field, looking for something more... it’s usually an illusion. Is the grass greener on the other side?
More and more that is not the case, it’s a false perception. Sometimes we’re not happy with your job, financial status, or maybe your family, it could be your marriage. If you are here, you need to take a hard look at yourself.
Every job I have had throughout my life, I made it work, no one else, I made it work. It doesn’t matter if it’s sweeping the floors and cleaning toilets, make the most of what you do, see the big picture. It doesn’t matter if you have an awesome position in the big city, even that might not be your happy place, but make the most of it.
Maybe your like most of us, living paycheck to paycheck, just trying to make it through life unnoticed. The Grass isn’t always Greener. There is a trade off, sometimes we don’t see that until it’s too late. You don’t have to be standing on the peak, to be Happy... You do not have to be standing on the peak, to see the big picture.
Sometimes family can pull us down, it’s amazing what the highs and lows are when it comes to happiness. You can’t change you family, that’s blood. What happens when someone’s gone, was the grass greener while you elected to stay away? Get over it and focus on the big picture.
Marriage is a whole different subject, and more times than not, we’re never happy. I won’t even get in to this one. The Grass is NOT Greener on the other side.
Focus on the Big Picture...
So, as I said before:
Is the Grass Greener on the Other Side?
You are the only one that can make that call, don’t let others decide for you.
Focus on the Big Picture... if you are unable to see the place you want to be, maybe you are exactly where you’re supposed to be.
Don’t Focus on the Grass...
Focus on the Big Picture!

Daniel, you said the magic word on this one.. "FOCUS".. it's pretty straightforward if we want to accomplish the goals that we set forth. Great article my dear friend! 😉👍👍
