Location, location, location...Six days ago Google rolled out a new link to their search armour, "POSTS". Whilst I'm keen to see how they perform for SEO in the long term, they are certainly an exciting local marketing proposition right now. We've asked one of our Google Maps clients to take them for a test drive and so far, we're impressed.

We used POSTS to promote the installation of their new coffee machine. Even with somewhat basic on-board parameters, POSTS give small local businesses the power to deliver targeted messages to customers in their vicinity. From our viewpoint, POSTS work best with established, active Maps profiles, adding a fresh exciting dimension to business and new opportunities for conversion.
