I'm officially certified by Google Developers as an Associate Android Developer (Kotlin).

What will the exam cost?

The Associate Android Developer Certification is $149 USD, which includes one exam attempt. Local pricing may vary based on your country of origin.

How can you take the exam for free?

You can participate in Google Africa Developer Scholarship. This Scholarship consists of 4 phases, and if you passed phases 1 & 2 & 3 then you will take the exam for free in phase 4. (As I remember it open in May and it ends in March)

How can you prepare for the exam?

1- Follow Google Study Guide and Codelabs

2- Read this awesome blog (Written by @Swanand Kavitkar )

3- Focus on: Room - LiveData - ViewModel - Coroutine - RecyclerView - ConstraintLayout - Notification - WorkManager - Paging 2 - Prefrence (App Setting) - UI Test - Custom View

4- Review these 2 applications: Sunflower & ToDo

5- Check this Doc (This document written by Andela Learning Community)

What is the duration of the exam?

You have 8 hours to complete the exam, and if you finish early, you can manually submit the exam. I finished the exam in 6 hours then I took 45 minutes for review. What I mean that 8 hours is enough to finish the exam.

What should you do once you open the exam?

1- Read the Assistant page and try to understand the app features.

2- Read all files - Read all files - Read all files

3- Start to write your code
