Reading only theory won't get you much far. You have to try, get hands on experience, you will fail, you will face errors, you will get n doubts. ASK those n doubts. Slowly and steadily you will get better.

Help others
Teaching others the concepts you have learnt, explaining them helps you to get more and more confident with the concerned concept.
