Full-Stack Web Developer vs Web Developer

When the corporate companies started understanding the importance of having a website for their product (or maybe for services), they started looking for folks who are good at developing the website. In previous years, the demand for Web developers has increased drastically. Any startup or large-scale company wants to have their own in-house web developers, who can really create "awesome" website(s) for their company. Not only for the creation of websites but we really need web-developer(s) to maintain the website on daily basics.

A lot of task needs to be incorporated for the Web Developers when it comes to either creation or maintenance of the website. A particular company can really make directly or indirectly, a good amount of profit when they are able to showcase their products or services to their clients through the web portal (or website). So eventually, with the growth of Digital Marketing or I can say in the Online Market, the hiring rate of Web Developers has increased a lot in different technical and non-technical companies.

The skills required for Web Developer or Front-end Developer are:- HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JS), JQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap and etc. Basically, a web developer will be dealing with the front-end web technologies to create the front-end part. How our website looks like, and how can we make it more attractive to our customers or clients, is the main task or activity that needs to be answered by the web developer. A web developer or front-end developer needs to be much more creative and needs to understand the importance of making a professional layout for the end-users.

With context to this, when I talk about "Full-Stack Web Developer", a full-stack web developer is someone who can manage the front-end part as well as the back-end part. He/she needs to have adequate information or skills on front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JS, and different front-end frameworks like Angular JS, React JS, and many more. Not only these but he/she also needs to have adequate information on back-end frameworks like Node JS, Express JS and etc. He should be the "master" in creating the complete end-to-end website, starting from the front end to the back-end part.

Full-Stack Web Developer vs Web Developer

The job role or responsibilities of a Full-Stack Web Developer is comparatively high as compare to Web Developer or Front-end Developer. A complete end-to-end project needs to be created by the single-handed Full-Stack Web Developer. A web developer will only work on the front-end part which the user can experience or visualize in the website and on the other end, a full-stack web-developer is someone who will be dealing with the front-end part of how the web page will look-like as well as the back-end part of all kind of validation and storage-related task or activities.

Please note - Here, I have highlighted the JavaScript frameworks only. A full-stack web developer can work or create websites other than JavaScript-based frameworks also.
