From the End of Synergy to The Future of Work

Synergy 2017 has officially come to an end. Through a multitude of speakers, sessions and activities, the conference successfully tackled how technology can empower powerful collaboration. 

Synergy provided the perfect forum for Citrix to announce new services that will allow companies to harness their workforce to an even greater degree. The end of one successful event brings the launch of other exciting Citrix initiatives.

We’re pleased to have announced new offerings that continue to make workspaces user-friendly and adaptable to everyday life. This calls back to a recent Oxford Economy Study, which found that executives who supported mobile business strategies outperformed other executives in categories such as higher revenue growth and profits, reduced expenses, increased employee retention and better customer satisfaction. In other words, remote work is here to stay and better for pay; it reduces hard and soft costs that can chip away at a company’s value. On the flip side, our new offerings will do more to bolster that value.

Firstly, Citrix is introducing an enhanced secure digital workspace user experience. This will allow users to access apps and documents in a single, user-friendly solution that is both secure and consistent across all devices. It allows users to work on Office 365 online documents, then streamline workflow and approval process with colleagues, without ever leaving the workspace.

Second, Citrix is welcoming Citrix Analytics - an offering that expands on the Citrix NetScaler Management and Analytics System to include new behaviour detection, insights, and risk resolution capabilities. This service utilizes machine learning across all Citrix product portfolios, allowing IT professionals to quickly address any infrastructure issues before severe damage can occur.

Finally, Citrix will be building on its cloud products through XenApp and XenDesktop Essentials, and XenMobile device management and application management and NetScaler Gateway Service. These features will mean customers can streamline and simplify implementation. As well, Citrix Cloud can integrate with Azure Active Directory for administrators, IoT capabilities, and other offerings in our labs.

While these new offerings are diverse, they are all born from our mandate that at Citrix, we are arming today’s workers for the workplace of tomorrow. A workplace that is flexible, secure and productive. Let’s keep striving to exceed our potential.
