Demonstrating a strong commitment to innovation and knowledge enhancement, the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at VELS Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies (VISTAS), Chennai, successfully organized a five-day online Faculty Development Programme (eFDP) titled “Enriching Pharmaceutical Sciences through Next-Generation Technologies and Sustainability” from 18th February 2026 to 23rd February 2026.

The programme aimed to empower faculty members, researchers, and academicians with emerging technological advancements and sustainable approaches shaping the future of pharmaceutical sciences. With the pharmaceutical industry rapidly integrating digital tools, green chemistry principles, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytical techniques, the need for academic professionals to stay updated has become more critical than ever.

Many faculties and research scholars, actively participated in this enriching online programme. The participation reflects dedication toward professional growth and a strong commitment to enhancing teaching methodologies and research competencies. The Faculty Development Programme was organized by the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Analysis under the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, VISTAS-Chennai.
