Finding The Sweet Spot

Do you write down your desires on a regular basis? Or Ever?

If you don’t, you should consider doing it now. Do it regularly. Daily, weekly or even monthly. The first step in getting what you want is defining what you want. And putting it on paper is very powerful.

Next… Go through your list. Consider how you feel about the things you want in your life.

Do they excite you?

Do you Believe you can have the life you wrote down?

Have calibrated your Emotional Guidance System? Once you define your dreams, your emotions will tell you if your thoughts and actions are congruent to achieving your desires. When you feel good, you’re in alignment with your desires. When you feel bad, you may want to reflect on what you’re thinking about or what actions you’re taking. It is likely that you are focused on the lack of what you desire or you have doubt that you will get it.

Back to your list.  

Go over the things, the situations, the feelings that you wrote down.

There are likely some items that you have a high level of belief that you can obtain them… and others that you think are a little beyond your reach.

Focus on the items that are big enough to excite you, but small enough that you believe you can get them.

Focus on the desires that are in "The Sweet Spot!"

Success-Enabling Insight: Finding the Sweet Spot

There is a very common situation that prevents many people from achieving their dreams. It occurs when a person writes down a goal that he or she doesn’t believe can be achieved.

Earl Nightingale once said, "You become what you think about most of the time." Rhonda Byrne’s book The Secret taught the world about the Law of Attraction, and that "what you want, wants you".

In my experience, Nightingale and Byrne are both right!

They do not, however, go into detail about the importance of belief. Lack of faith creates resistance to attracting your desires. So when you are putting your desires out into the Universe, you must find something that is described as The Sweet Spot.

Again… things that are in The Sweet spot are things that are big enough to excite you, but small enough that you believe you can get them.

It’s okay if you aren't in The Sweet Spot when you think of some of the things that you want. Once you start to see the magic of manifesting happen in your life, your belief WILL grow. You will eventually start to truly understand what Napoleon Hill meant when he said, “Anything the mind of man can conceive, and bring itself to believe, it can achieve.”

Some things are too big for you right now… but they won’t always be.

When you think about the bigger things that you want in your life, you can limit your level of doubt by focusing on the next logical step. Something you believe you can achieve, that you would also consider as making progress towards your bigger dreams.

So, be conscious of how you feel when you focus on your goals and desires. Focus on the things that are in The Sweet Spot and you will see those things happen in your life. And… before you know it, you will believe that anything is possible!
