Explicating DevOps – When Development & Operations Come Together

Organizations are finding themselves up against new challenges as the era of cloud-based Web applications take root. This thriving ecosystem demand quicker corrections, releases or upgrades in response to issues or user community requests. The IT R&D teams or product support teams within an organization or software firms themselves are constantly innovating and adapting to retain a state of constant readiness across their user installs. But this constant flux can put severe stress on both functional as well as technical teams resulting in faults and breakdowns. More often than not, companies in the last decade and half have witnessed this gap widening over time as client expectations have matured faster than anticipated.

DevOps seems to be the silver lining or silver bullet for this problem. DevOps is known as a symbiotic and synergetic partnership between development and operations teams.  Though DevOps seems the most sensible path & should have been the way to go, but it is an idea whose time has finally come.
