Enjoy the steak.

Enjoy the steak.

When is the last time you were out to eat and the server brought you a nice juicy filet with the disclaimer, “Be careful, this plate is hot?” What was your reaction? What was your action? And what happened the next time?

If you’re like me, you held your finger to the plate without regard to their warning. And you do it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Why do we do that? It’s because we value our own opinion more than the facts presented to us. We are so averse to the notion of there being absolute truths in existence without our first-hand experience and interpretation of them.

“Oh, it’s not THAT hot.”

“Ow! They were right! I should have listened!”

It’s the reason so many people make the wrong business decision, or get behind the wheel after drinking, or touch the hot plate. As a society we have different buzzwords of why we do these things but the answer may be more simple. Maybe we just think we know better than anyone or anything else.

We, as humans, are fallible. Regardless of fact, we make the wrong decision over and over again because we intuitively believe we are smarter than, wittier than, wiser than, and fundamentally above the truth.

Machine learning engines can remove that fallacy from your business decisions.  They take an unbiased approach to identify trends within your data and learn from their mistakes with 100% efficiency. The machine will not question its decision or doubt the truth. It will improve upon it.

Our goal at DataCorre is simple: Let our clients enjoy the steak without burning their fingers.
