Don't be the jack of nothing.

The world we’re in is spinning quickly. Ever feel like you need a maths degree just to make it through your campaign reports? You need to be out talking with your stakeholders, but you NEED to be at your desk? Get the vibe your skills-base is not enough for the road ahead? 

We face these challenges every day, and for those teams well-placed it’s a time to shine.

More than ever, we need to be fast, smart and lean - able to make quick decisions but based on accurate information

Data. As marketeers making magic happen in the digital age, if anything we're spoilt for choice when it comes to numbers, datasets and points to "analyse". It can be overwhelming, so how do we keep our heads above water?

Speed and agility. More than ever, we need to be fast, smart and lean - able to make quick decisions but based on accurate information, building trust and telling a valid “story”.

Teams on the A-Game. How do we build healthy collaboration between teams who are from different backgrounds and have different needs? How can we get real “new” value from our staff, whilst creating personal equity for the individuals involved - and have fun at the same time?

So what’s the answer? Sadly if you're not there yet, there’s no magical fix (if you have one please share!), but you can shift the needle with two personal choices.

  1. Be the culture you want create; invest time in the people you work with, your teams, and yourself - we’re all human... (until the robots come). Plus, we all have different specialities so build the ultimate team.
  2. Embrace technology - understand what’s relevant to you, learn it, and accept that we are facing massive change, every day.
