Do Good, Get Good
So... I have been unplugging more and more daily. I must admit, I had become much too dependent on modern technology these days... especially social media.
Back in August of 2016, I unplugged for a few months. I kept my phone on, and wrote a book in 29 days. I got back on social media in October, and started searching for a publisher.
This was my second book, and I decided to use LinkedIn as a tool to connect with others. While searching for a publisher, I found myself developing an online presence through my daily posts/articles.
As the quest to publish my book took a backseat, I continued to connect heart to heart with others, regardless of faith, denomination, gender and/or political affiliation. I began witnessing the love of God spread within my LinkedIn network. I became less interested in me, and more intent on helping others.
God will provide, but we must do the work. Faith alone will not suffice. It involves action. It involves pure motives. It involves the willingness to accept the unacceptable.
If you are walking through the fire, keep on walking. There is much to be said about doing good unto others. Hard work and a positive attitude is crucial. No matter what happens in life, a well-trained mind, an open heart and a selfless attitude will suffice.
Yes, we all need money to survive. We all need certain material possessions to provide comfort. However, if we lack love and compassion for the well-being of mankind, how can we truly enjoy the essence of life?
The point of this article can be summed up in four words: do good, get good. The more we do for others, the less we tend to worry about our own selfish needs. It truly is that simple...
About All In Christ
Agreed.
Great inspirational and motivational words as always. Thank you very much for kickstarting my day, and maybe the rest of my life 👏🏿🙏🏿✝️☮️👍🏿
