Developing mobile apps

I come from a development background and wanted to see if I could find a quick and easy way to generate basic mobile apps within minutes. My search took me onto downloading tools over tools but all of them relied on existing development frameworks. Something which for what I wanted to get to was an overkill.

This changed once I encountered a niche area of new startups which allow cloud based fully online quick application development. Within 5 mins I had a basic app which allowed me to have a number of pages linked together, submission of information and a relatively good out of the box design. 

On further investigation I found that there are a whole class of such companies with different levels of success. One which I really liked was appery.io . 

• Very easy user interface
• Very fast application generation
• Easily expandable 
• Allows for export into different formats

Worth a second look as soon as I find the time !
