Data is and will remain center of IT technology evolution

Over the years technology evolved from On-premise to Cloud to Mobile based application to new AI evolution. In my opinion one thing remained central to all. It is Data.

 Data evolved from Structured data to Unstructured to Hybrid form of data. 

From On-premise Relational Database to Cloud based Managed Relation Database to Database suited for Unstructured form of data such as Document, Graph, Big data, streaming data.

Companies adopted storage and database to meet compliance and data residency needs of Industry and Country regulation

The data has become huge and is growing at rapid pace. The success of AI age will be to harness large data and getting relevant pattern from it, filtering the information required to move forward in AI evolution

How we evolve our storage, database, processing power of CPU will also play key role in channelizing it in right direction

Team from Data Engineering, AI Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Application Engineer, Security Engineering all have to come together to utilize power of data in true sense

§  Data Engineer has to transform and bring relevant information from Data

§  AI Engineer has to utilize it to predict and generate relevant solution

§  Infrastructure Engineer has to ensure optimal storage, database, processing power

§  Application Engineer has to design application to show the power of data along with application logic embedded

§  Security Engineer has to secure data from source to end processing, auditing, encryption, logs

 Data will be backbone of AI revolution and next revolution that will come after that. I am in awe of role data has played in past and will play in future!
