To be or no to be with Data and Analytics.

Today, in the midst of the most complex crisis that humanity has ever experienced, we are facing many opportunities for change. Opportunities of all shades and nuances that must be taken advantage of, clearly as a person, family, society, or business to be able to ask ourselves today: where do we see ourselves in those aspects in 5 years?

And it is not easy to fit a puzzle that, as the days go by, becomes uncertain with the passing of the days and the lack of clarity of where we are going. However, what is certain is taking control of what we can analyze. From the data we have and can give it a logical order, it will allow us to have a solid floor to start making change decisions.

One of the decisions that people and organizations must make today is to go from a model where they control their data to sharing data to give much more value to the collaboration transactions we make. We must have the ability to create analyzes with these data to become disruptive in times when the status quo has lost relevance.

All the businesses that exist today and their models are being evaluated, because they are going to change, there is no other way. In this aspect, it only remains to understand how digitization is done in a process where data and analytics are applied to problems that lead to solutions that are much more measurable than before. Identifying, sizing, prioritizing, and facing every possible case with a better strategy that generates value in the short and long term.

My recommendation is to have started a process led by the executive team and identify the main sources where today there is a real added value. With this and with the data and analytics, the links in the value chain with the greatest potential can be glued together. Since this is identified, and with analyzed data, it is to create business models and make benchmarks to fine-tune and launch quickly to offer products that make sense at this time.
