Continuing My Machine Learning Journey
I am continuing this class in Machine Learning(ML). It is a topic I have found really interesting, but it is hard to figure out where to start. I have no real-world reasons to use it since my work doesn't expose me to this topic. But that has never been a reason for me to learn/not-learn something.
A month or two ago, I got accepted to try this Nanodegree for AWS Machine Learning Foundations. For me, this was free as part of a promo. I am hoping I do well enough in the test at the end (I think I need a 90% or better) to move on to the more detailed coursework for free as a scholarship.
Today's class has moved to me using Jupyter Notebooks. I have played around with it in the past, but never really used it. If I ever needed to do anything in Python, I'd just use Spyder. But now, I am getting a chance to actually use Jupyter for a reason while also learning about ML.
Now, crossing my fingers too that my work advertises some positions for this kind of material. Unfortunately, they will probably pull from the Data Scientist/Statistician roles before they use a Business Intelligence Analyst.
